Nick Drake Bryter Later

Second effort of Nick Drake that seems to be futher in the symbolism of the previous one but... here sounds like a happy sorrow, large arrangments and special collaboration of no one but john Cale of Velvet Underground fame this work is not than melancholic as Five Leaves Left, but is sure that is a very good one, the things that Drake put in his songs are more introspection about the themes that worry him, specially why the human being is here in the world, and go deep in the tree, sun, moon and a new one that we can call "the city loleniness" in straight comparison to the "Rural melancholy" of the first one, other themes are woth to listen specially the "rapid" Hazey Jane part I and II who show the fight that Drake have with the drug habit, the endless summer days in Sunday and the remember of the cold mellow sorrow of Poor Boy.
After this work Drake suffer a real breakdown as we see in the famous last live record... pink moon.
