The magnum opus of Nick Drake one of the finest (if not the FINEST guitarrist of english poetic and dark sorrow), his symbols are the threes, the river, the sun and the moon, besides others, influenced by William Blake, buddism and english folk rock and a little bit classical he manage to create one of the finest records of the aging decade. His extraordinaire abilities to play the guitar in six diferent keys and his lyrics full of sorrows (Perhaps Uriah Heep was inspired by him in the tune "Man full of yesterdays") i recommend this great album to one that keep the flame of the real sensibility of greater things in earth, his dark poetry and sorrow is full of loneliness, depresion and french symbolism is absolutely unmatch. if you like folk guitar, somber arrangments and a darker and melancolich ambient this is your disc! I personally recommend tracks "Three Hours", "River Man", "Cello Song" (the very first track that i hear form him in a obscure radio station) and "Day is Done".
